…and with that move, down goes the first place I’ve been sad to leave instead of itching to move on. My place for 1.5 of those years was at the tip of the peninsula jetting out on the bottom right.

I think they should invent something where if you want to share a video with a friend online…while both of you are online or on the phone or something - you know, to laugh in synch - the interwebs should somehow be able to realize you want to “watch it together” and make it so that one person can hit play and both of you get to watch it, together, in harmony.
